Neonhunt: The idea has a foundation

The concept is defined, the direction is clear, and our first detailed design document is complete. Neonhunt reaches an important planning milestone.

An idea is becoming a game project with a clear direction. We’ve worked through Neonhunt’s core concept, settled on its genre, and completed our first detailed design document. That marks an important step in planning.

The journey we want to share

Neonhunt combines a sci-fi story with the conversations and choices of a visual novel and the exploration of a point-and-click adventure. We want to open up a world where you can follow your curiosity, look closer, and find your own way.

Our design document, also called a GDD, sets out how those elements should fit together. It gives us a shared guide for the atmosphere, the experience of playing, and what should make Neonhunt feel like itself.

From planning to trying things out

With that foundation in place, we can begin putting individual ideas into practice. Plenty of things sound good on paper; what matters next is how they feel to play.

We’re keeping the story under wraps. For now, we’re happy to see so many ideas come together into something we can build on.
