Neonhunt: The first ideas become playable

Neonhunt enters pre-production. We’re testing the first prototypes to discover how our ideas feel to play.

Neonhunt is taking its next step. During this preparation stage, known as pre-production, we’re testing our first prototypes. These small playable experiments let us experience ideas from the concept for the first time.

What does Neonhunt feel like?

We’re particularly interested in how exploration, conversations, and choices work together. Can you find your way around? Is it clear what you can examine or try? Is there room to follow your curiosity alongside the next objective?

Those are the kinds of questions guiding these early experiments. The presentation can still be simple. First, we want to discover which ideas hold up and which need another look.

Making room to experiment

This stage lets us change the flow and compare different possibilities. An early idea doesn’t have to reach the finished game unchanged. What matters is the experience it creates for you.

The prototypes are internal development steps, rather than a public demo. They help us strengthen the foundation for production while keeping the story’s surprises intact.
