Neonhunt #06 — A detour can make a difference
Eight side quests explore the crew’s everyday lives. Shared decisions also give you a voice in life aboard the station.
We want to give you reasons to leave the direct route occasionally. The station’s residents have concerns of their own, beyond waiting for you to continue the main story.
Small tasks, different perspectives
Eight side quests are now part of the journey. They include the air supply, communications, navigation, and personal matters. Some take you through several rooms and connect different people.
You can keep track of these tasks. Hints and character markers help you judge whether another conversation might be worthwhile or an errand has moved forward.
A say in life aboard
A longer strand concerns the crew’s shared rules. Conversations develop across several encounters and lead to a vote about how people want to live together.
Decisions like these can return later, including when the story looks back on your journey. We like the thought that an optional detour leaves something behind: you understand a person better, see a conflict differently, or help change something for the crew.
